Crop waste becomes fuel and fertiliser

The plant will use crop waste from Guna district to make compressed biogas. It will receive and prepare the material, turn it into biogas, clean the gas and send it to the buyer.

The same process will make up to 25 tonnes of organic manure each day.

On site in Guna

The 2.8-hectare site is at Village Nehgawan in Guna. The September 2026 project update reported 44% construction progress.

The construction schedule

The project plans to start commissioning and trials in January 2027. Full production is planned for July 2027.

The plant is designed to run for 330 days each year. It can use Napier grass or corn stover as its main input.
